PIL new slot charter arrangement in the India East Coast
With the restructuring of its services in the India East Coast, PIL recently announced a new slot charter arrangement called the East Coast India Service (EIS) covering following rotation under 2 loops:
Loop 1: Singapore - Port Klang (West Port) - Port Klang (North Port) - Chennai - Krishnapatnam (fortnightly) - Port Klang (North Port) - Port Klang (West Port) - Singapore
Loop 2: Singapore - Port Klang (West Port) - Port Klang (North Port) - Chennai - Vizag - Port Klang (North Port) - Port Klang (West Port) - Singapore
The first sailing from Singapore commenced from the 23rd of April 2014. This new slot charter arrangement will enhance PIL's coverage by offering its customers more options with 2 sailings per week for India East Coast. < Korea Shipping Gazette >
