13,386 TEU <COSCO SPAIN> christened and delivered

On January 23, the christening ceremony of the 13,386 TEU container ship MV. COSCO SPAIN was grandly held at Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering. Mr. Han Chengmin, President of NACKS, Mr. Lu Junshan, Labor Union Chairman of COSCON, and other guests from COSCON, COSCOSHIP and the American Bureau of Shipping attended and witnessed the ceremony. The wife of the General Manager of China National Fisheries Corp christened the new ship.

MV. COSCO SPAIN is the fifth in a series of eight 13,386 TEU vessels being built for COSCON by Nantong Shipyard (NACKS). The COSCO SPAIN will be deployed on the COSCON CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3).

The port rotation of CKYH Joint North Europe Express Service 3 (NE3) is: Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Xingang. < Korea Shipping Gazette >
