Heung-A still in the red

Heung-A Shipping announced on November 14 that its net loss reached KRW 5.98 billion in Q3, widening the gap between the KRW 2.12 billion of last year.

The Korean carrier also suffered huge losses in its operating profit. The operating loss shows a steep decline recording negative KRW 5.67 billion from positive KRW 7.33 billion in the same period last year.

But there’s a happy note amongst the misfortune as the company saw its revenue increase 9.7% to KRW 169.4 billion from KRW 154.3 billion. < 김보람 기자 [brkim@ksg.co.kr] >
