MSC will further upgrade the current Oceania Express Service, via the Panama. Commencing the 14th of December 2011, MSC will in addition to its call at Cristobal, now also be able to offer its clients a direct service to and from the ports of Savannah and Philadelphia.
OCEANIA EXPRESS LOOP currently deploys 10 vessels on the weekly Oceania Service with an average capacity of 3,200 TEU in partnership with existing direct services offered by Hamburg Sud and Maersk Line. With the upgrade it will now be able to offer a direct connection from/to the USA East Coast (Philadelphia°§Savannah) to Australia and New Zealand. Mediterranean Shipping Company will continue to call at the Panama hubs of (Cristobal, Balboa) giving the opportunity to connect with several MSC services from the Caribbean, North, South and Central America as well as extensive range of ports from Europe to assist our valued customers.
OC Loop 2 Routing will offer Sydney - Melbourne - Timaru - Port Chalmers - Napier - Tauranga - Auckland - Cristobal - Philadelphia - Savannah - Balboa - Auckland - Sydney.
Mediterranean Shipping Company will be offering space, in accordance with FMC regulation, to their customers as follows OCEANIA EXPRESS LOOP 2.
